Holmesglen's HVAC Centre of Excellence has been established through a partnership between Holmesglen and Victoria’s peak mechanical contracting body, the Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association (AMCA).

The centre provides a simulated environment that replicates the entire heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems used in today’s climate-controlled buildings. As these systems become more sophisticated, technologically advanced and environmentally efficient, they require skilled workers to design, install, repair and maintain them.

AMCA Australia in conjunction with Holmesglen is pleased to offer a series of HVAC-specific masterclasses at our HVAC Centre of Excellence at Holmesglen's Chadstone campus. Attend one masterclass or attend all. They're all free and designed by industry, for industry. Everyone is welcome. A certificate of attendance can be supplied, and you may be able to claim CPD points.

A class to cover the fundamentals as well as more advanced topics relevant to today’s climate including Occupant Comfort, Air diffusion selection, ADPI, Ventilation effectiveness and Pathogen resistance in an HVAC system.

Sustainability Engineered: An introduction to Sustainable Hot Water and Space Heating Systems | Delivered by Automatic Heating

This Masterclass explores Heating Systems, including the benefits of high-efficiency boilers and the role heat pumps and ancillary products play in achieving Net-Zero project outcomes. Real-world case studies investigate engineered solutions, and the function of prefabricated skid frames in customising heating and hot water systems to meet specifications.
