Women currently working in the construction sector have a final opportunity to register their interest in scholarship funding courtesy of Women & Leadership Australia, the largest women’s leadership initiative in the country.
The funding will be used to provide women with partial scholarships of up to $5,000 to undertake a range of leadership development programs, which consist of career building courses and will commence in 2021.
The courses are suited to women at all management levels, including early career managers, mid-level managers, and senior and executive leaders, and aim to support women in their transition to leadership roles.
The course modules cover topics such as effective interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, driving performance, leading innovation and change, problem solving, empowering teams, and authentic leadership.
Due to widespread support, many high-calibre candidates have already secured scholarships, however there are several scholarships which are still available and must be awarded prior to the end of the year.
The AMCA encourages its members to register their interest by completing the Expression of Interest form on the Women & Leadership Australia website by 5pm on December 14, 2020.
