Leading US contractor to present at this year’s Construction Innovation Forum

Published: 12 April 2019

Excitement is continuing to building as we approach the tenth anniversary of the Construction innovation Forum. This year, the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association is excited to announce that Mr David Pikey, Vice President of Corporate Technology at The Hill Group, will be returning as our mechanical contracting keynote.

Based in Chicago, The Hill Group is a $250 million company working in both the construction and maintenance of building systems with a strategic focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.

During his last visit to our forum in 2015, Dave proved a crowd favorite with his presentation on The Hill Group's integrated approach to construction technology.

At this year’s forum, Dave will present on how the MEP industry can significantly increase productivity by improving the connection between design and construction modelling.

While the gap is starting to be bridged by some, for the majority it continues to be a problem. Dave will talk about how the Hill Group tackle this issue on projects, how client demand is influencing a change in business practice and what the industry needs to do to successfully navigate through the inevitable restructuring that this will create.

Dave’s presence adds to the long list of leading mechanical contractors that have presented at the forum since 2010, which includes globally respected companies such as US Engineering, Cannistraro, The Brandt Group of Companies, McKinstry, Comfort Systems USA and Crown House Technologies.

He will be joined by thought leaders and practitioners from across the supply chain, each providing unique insight into how leading firms are using technology to deliver innovative solutions in the building and construction industry.
