Coinciding with the National Skills week, the Refrigeration and Climate Control Centre of Excellence hosted its apprentice and parent advice evening on August 29.
The AMCA and key representatives of the industry provided details on their journey in the commercial air conditioning industry. It was a very well attended function with exciting opportunities presented to the potential new entrants in the industry.
Working collaboratively with Box Hill Institute in Victoria, the AMCA aims to ensure a strong future for industry by providing the necessary skills and exposure for future entrants.
AMCA Executive Director, Sumit Oberoi, underscored the importance of such events, saying "we understand that our entrants deserve a great start in life that an apprenticeship provides. There is no better contribution our member organisations can make to our society than giving good jobs with a clear pathway for our young Victorians".
