AMCA meets with Turkish HVAC delegation

On 6 August 2018, the AMCA met with owners of Turkey’s major mechanical engineering and design companies to discuss a range of topics including HVAC standards, building policy, innovation and training. 

The delegation was in Australia to meet with local companies about doing business throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

Held at the Refrigeration and Climate Control Centre of Excellence (RCCC) at Box Hill Institute, the meeting provided an excellent opportunity to share information while touring one of Australia's most advanced training facilities.

Turkey is  preparing for a significant boom in the building and construction industry with several major projects scheduled for delivery in coming years. 

As part of its strategy to establish Turkey as a global leader in commerce and tourism, the Turkish Government is planning to build the world's largest airport in Istanbul to help drive commerce activities throughout the region.
