The following guidelines have been produced by the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to help businesses understand their obligations as employers, as well as the key support mechanisms available to them during COVID-19.

The Federal Government’s business website had launched a dedicated Coronavirus information and support for business. Find financial assistance, eligibility and timing for the new government support for Australian businesses. 

Australian Tax Office (ATO)

The ATO's Coronavirus page provides easy-to-understand and detailed information about what people need to know or do in order to get access to the tax or superannuation measures as announced by the Government as part of its economic response to COVID-19.
 
My Business Health (ASBFEO)
The Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) has developed the My Business Health website to provide help and support for small business who are experiencing a problem. It has a dedicated section for challenges resulting from COVID-19, including advice on how to take advantage of government assistance.

The FairWork Ombudsman provides information relating to workplace obligations and entitlements for businesses and employees impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

SafeWork: Coronavirus Advice for Employers

This page offers advice for Australian businesses based on their obligations under Australian model Workplace Health & Safety Laws.

Information about the virus and the public health response will continue to evolve and change rapidly.  All members of the community are encouraged to stay abreast of developments and to seek information from credible sources.
